The Satanic Temple presents: BIBLIOMANCY, a singular evening of literary spell-casting and exploration of the occult imagination. Doors at 7:30pm, event at 8pm.

Our evening will include readings from:

Sonya Vatomsky :: staff writer at Haute Macabre and author of "Salt Is For Curing" from Sator Press. "Salt Is For Curing" has been praised by Dennis Cooper, Roxane Gay, and Ariana Reines and was a Blood Milk Book Club pick in 2016. Vatomsky's writing on art and death has appeared in NY Mag, Rolling Stone, The Washington Post, Atlas Obscura, Mental Floss, Death & The Maiden, Sabat Magazine, and more. Janaka Stucky :: mystic poet, performer, and publisher. He is the founding editor of award-winning press, Black Ocean, as well as its annual poetry journal, Handsome. In 2015 Jack White’s Third Man Records launched a new publishing imprint, Third Man Books, and chose Janaka’s full-length poetry collection, "The Truth Is We Are Perfect," as their inaugural title. Other books include "Your Name Is The Only Freedom," and "The World Will Deny It For You." His poems have appeared in such journals as Denver Quarterly, Fence and North American Review, and his articles have been published by The Huffington Post and The Poetry Foundation. He is a two-time National Haiku Champion and in 2010 he was voted “Boston’s Best Poet” in The Boston Phoenix. More at janakastucky.com

Peter Bebergal :: author of "Season of the Witch: How the Occult Saved Rock and Roll," "Too Much to Dream: A Psychedelic American Boyhood" and "The Faith between Us: A Jew and a Catholic Search for the Meaning of God," and the forthcoming "Strange Frequencies." He writes widely on music and books, with special emphasis on the speculative and slightly fringe. His recent essays and reviews have appeared in The New Yorker online, Slate, The Times Literary Supplement, The Quietus, BoingBoing, and The Believer. Bebergal studied religion and culture at Harvard Divinity School, and lives in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
