Seeking Studio Manager

About the Role:

I'm on the hunt for a Studio Manager who's ready to dive into the bustling world of literary publishing, game development, and arts organization. As a writer, artist, and publisher, my days are a whirlwind of ideas and projects. I need someone who's not just a manager, but a maestro of sorts, collaborating with me in the ebb and flow of my creative ventures.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Being my right hand in managing an array of creative projects. Think of it as playing Tetris with tasks and deadlines.

  • Embarking on research quests to gather the golden nuggets of information we need, and organizing that information into easily accessible and useful documents.

  • Handling emails and relationships like a pro. In some instances you’ll be the friendly face (or voice) connecting me with the outside world.

  • Scheduling appointments. Yes, even creatives need some structure.

Must-haves:

  • Stellar communication and copywriting skills.

  • Jaw-dropping organizational prowess—think Marie Kondo meets academic archivist.

  • A knack for self-direction (why do I keep reading that as “self-destruction?). I need someone who can grab the reins and ride off into the sunset … but then come back the next day with updates.

  • Creative problem-solving skills—because sometimes the path less traveled is a bit tangled.

  • If you’ve got a flair for graphic design, I’ve got some additional work for you!

  • Bonus points if you’ve mingled in the realms of book publishing or the TTRPG industry.

Nice-to-haves:

  • Pay: $25/hr, but hey, impress me and we can talk numbers.

  • Location: Fully remote. Work in your PJs, I won’t judge!

  • Hours: 15-20 per week. I value flexibility, but need someone who can respond within 12-24 hours on weekdays. Extra hours? Maybe, if you’ve got the skills.

the deal:

  • This gig is for 6 months, with potential to extend if we’re rocking it together.
